AeroChat adds an AI-powered chatbot to your WordPress site and keeps it in sync with your content. Pages, posts, and — when WooCommerce is active — products, coupons, and shipping zones are sent to the AeroChat knowledge base so the chatbot can answer customer questions accurately.
Features:
A free or paid AeroChat account is required to use this plugin. You can create one at https://aerochat.ai.
This plugin connects to the AeroChat service (operated by AeroChat) to power the AI chatbot and to sync your site content into the chatbot’s knowledge base. The plugin does not contact AeroChat until you enter an API key generated from your AeroChat dashboard.
The plugin communicates with the AeroChat API at https://app.aerochat.ai for the following purposes:
* What is sent: your site URL, the chatbot enabled/disabled state, and your AeroChat API key.
* When: when you save your API key, when you toggle the chatbot on or off, and periodically to verify the connection is still valid.
* Endpoint: https://app.aerochat.ai/bot/wordpress/webhook/ping
* What is sent: published pages and posts (title, URL, and content); and, when WooCommerce is active, products (name, description, price, variants, stock, tags, image URL), coupons (code, discount type, amount, expiry date), and shipping zones and methods.
* When: when you click “Sync Now”, when you save your API key, and automatically when you create, update, or delete the relevant content.
* Endpoints: https://app.aerochat.ai/bot/wordpress/webhook/content and https://app.aerochat.ai/bot/wordpress/webhook/batch
* What is sent: when the chatbot is enabled, your site loads the AeroChat widget script and visitors’ chat messages are sent to AeroChat so the AI can generate replies.
* When: on front-end page views while the chatbot is enabled.
* Script: https://app.aerochat.ai/static/chatbox_live.js
