• Your own email-verification server — optional. If you enter the URL and API key of a self-hosted verification server in the Email Validator settings, the email addresses being validated are sent to that server instead of being probed over SMTP from your site. No server address is preconfigured, so this is inactive unless you set one.

• Freemius webhooks (https://freemius.com) — optional, inbound only. If you paste a webhook URL generated by this plugin into your Freemius dashboard, Freemius posts customer opt-in events to your site so marketing-opted-in buyers can be added as subscribers. The plugin never sends data to Freemius.

Source code and build process

The admin interface is written in TypeScript/React and compiled with @wordpress/scripts (webpack). The unminified sources for everything in build/ are included in the src/ directory of this plugin package. To reproduce the bundled files from source, run npm install && npm run build from the plugin root.
