Aplivara Automate & Engage helps WordPress and WooCommerce websites collect customer testimonials, display approved reviews, and connect customer engagement activities to PlugFlow, the hosted testimonial and automation platform at plugflow.in. Aplivara is the plugin you install and manage in WordPress; PlugFlow is the connected service where testimonials are stored, moderated and rendered and where review requests and automations run. The plugin is published by Sedulous Web.

What you can do in WordPress

  • Show a testimonial wall – add the Testimonial Wall block, the [plugflow_wall id="…"] shortcode or the classic “Testimonial Wall” widget. A picker lists your walls by name, the editor shows a preview, and the wall’s approved testimonials are included in the page HTML so they are visible before the embed script loads and without JavaScript.
  • Collect testimonials and reviews – add the Testimonial Form block or the [plugflow_form slug="…"] shortcode so customers can send a testimonial with a rating and, if you allow it, a photo or video.
  • Ask WooCommerce customers for a review (optional, off by default) – after an order is paid or completed, PlugFlow emails the customer a link to your collection form after the delay you choose.
  • Send WooCommerce order events to your automations (optional, off by default) – when an order is paid, completed, cancelled or refunded, the plugin sends the event to your PlugFlow workspace so the automations you build there can react, for example by sending an email or calling a webhook.

What happens in PlugFlow

Collecting, storing, moderating and rendering testimonials, sending review-request emails and running automations all happen in your PlugFlow account. You approve testimonials in the PlugFlow dashboard, and only approved testimonials appear on your walls. Automations and their integrations are configured in PlugFlow, not in WordPress.

Account and licence

This plugin requires a PlugFlow account and a site licence. The Free plan includes one connected site and is enough to show walls and collect testimonials; paid plans raise the service’s limits (testimonials, walls, sites, review-request emails, automations). Nothing in the plugin’s code is locked behind a payment. To connect a site, create a licence key on the “Licences & Plugins” page of the PlugFlow dashboard and paste it under Settings Automate & Engage in WordPress. The number of sites a key can connect at once depends on your PlugFlow plan and is enforced by the service.

Blocks, shortcodes, widget and settings

The plugin registers two blocks for the WordPress editor: Testimonial Wall and Testimonial Form. Everything else is provided through the two shortcodes, the classic “Testimonial Wall” widget, the settings page (licence, connection and WooCommerce options) and your PlugFlow dashboard. The plugin’s JavaScript is not minified or compiled: what ships in the plugin is its source.

Branding on the Free plan: walls and forms rendered by PlugFlow include a small “Powered by PlugFlow” link. It is part of the service’s output, not added by the plugin, and paid plans can turn it off per wall in the PlugFlow dashboard.

External services

This plugin relies on PlugFlow (https://plugflow.in), a hosted service operated by Sedulous Web (https://sedulousweb.com), the publisher of this plugin. It does not display anything without it. PlugFlow Terms of service · Privacy policy.

Requests your WordPress server makes to the PlugFlow API (https://plugflow.in/v1/public/…)

Every request identifies the plugin and your site URL in its User-Agent header.

  • Connecting and checking the licence – sends the licence key and your site’s domain; when you activate, it also sends the site URL, the plugin version and the WordPress version. This happens when you click Activate, Re-check or Deactivate on Settings Automate & Engage; once a day in the background; when a page showing a wall or form is viewed after the last check has expired (at most about once a day); when the plugin is re-activated with a key already saved; and when the plugin is deactivated or deleted (to free the site’s slot).
  • Listing your walls and forms – sends the licence key and domain, and receives wall and form names and IDs. Happens on Settings Automate & Engage, in the block editor and in the classic widget form (cached for 10 minutes).
  • Wall content – sends the wall ID and receives the wall’s HTML (approved testimonials). Happens when a page containing a wall is rendered (cached for 10 minutes).
  • WooCommerce review requests – only if you switch on “Post-purchase review requests”. For each paid or completed order it sends the licence key, domain, the customer’s name and email address, the order number, and your chosen delay and form. PlugFlow uses them to email the customer a link to your collection form and also records the order in your PlugFlow workspace.
  • WooCommerce order events – only if you switch on “Order events for automations”. When an order is paid, completed, cancelled or refunded it sends the licence key, domain, order number, status, total and currency, the customer’s name and email address, and each item’s name, quantity and SKU, so your PlugFlow automations can react to them.

Requests your visitors’ browsers make on pages that contain a PlugFlow wall or form:

  • The embed script https://plugflow.in/widget.js is loaded from PlugFlow, and it loads the wall or form from the PlugFlow API. As with any web request, PlugFlow receives the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent.
  • The embed script reports anonymous view and click counts (wall or form ID, page domain and path) to PlugFlow for your dashboard statistics. It sets no cookies and uses no identifiers.
  • When a visitor submits a PlugFlow form, what they enter (for example their name, email address, testimonial, rating and any photo or video they add), together with their consent, is sent to PlugFlow.
  • Testimonials that contain a video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo load a preview image from YouTube (i.ytimg.com) and, when the visitor presses play, the YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) or Vimeo player. See the YouTube/Google privacy policy and the Vimeo privacy policy.

If you enable the WooCommerce features or show PlugFlow forms, mention PlugFlow in your site’s privacy policy.
