We built ByTheWeb AI to be your personal assistant, not your replacement. The AI does the heavy lifting – researching, writing, generating images, and optimizing – but the website administrator/editor always remains in the driver’s seat. Every piece of content, image, or tag generated by the AI is saved as a draft and waits for your final approval before publishing. You decide what goes live and when.

• AI Auto Pilot (Strategic Automation): A fully automated system that generates articles based on any predefined topics (manually added or AI suggested) and frequency. For maximum control, you can choose whether articles are saved as drafts for your manual review or published automatically.
• AI Article Wizard – In any language: Guide the AI through a structured 4-step process to create high-quality, ready-to-publish content with full editorial control.
• Internal Links Dictionary: Define up to 10 keywords and URLs. The AI will automatically and naturally weave up to 3 of these links into your newly generated articles.
• Auto-Tags Generation: The AI generates and assigns 5 highly relevant WordPress tags for each new article to improve site structure.

Security & Access Control:

Security is our top priority. ByTheWeb AI strictly follows WordPress capability standards to ensure that your API credits are completely safe from unauthorized usage. Subscribers, store customers, or guests cannot trigger AI actions or consume your credits.

• Content Generation & Editing: Only users with the edit_posts capability (Administrators, Editors, Authors, and Contributors) have access to the AI Article Wizard, Image Generator, and Media Optimizer.
• System Settings & Auto Pilot: Only users with the manage_options or edit_others_posts capabilities (Administrators and Editors) can configure the Auto Pilot, manage the AI queue, update pricing caches, or modify the API Key.
• AJAX Endpoint Protection: Every single AJAX endpoint in our plugin is protected by a double-layer security mechanism. This includes strict Nonce Verification to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks, and a Capability Check (current_user_can) to ensure the logged-in user is authorized before executing any action. Unauthorized requests are immediately rejected by the server.

External services

This plugin connects to our external API service (ByTheWeb AIPM) to process heavy AI computations like text generation, image generation, and SEO analysis without slowing down your server.

• What data is sent and when:

  • When generating an article, the plugin sends the article topic (prompt) and the site’s locale language to our server.
  • When generating or analyzing images, the plugin sends the image subject, environment preferences, or the URL of the image being analyzed.
  • When generating FAQ schema, the plugin sends the post’s text content to our server for analysis.
  • Every API request includes your API Key and your site’s Domain URL for authentication purposes.
