CategoView for Amazon uses the Amazon Creators API to retrieve product information from a specified Amazon product category and display it as a carousel on your WordPress site.
After configuring your Amazon Associates credentials and product category, CategoView retrieves product information and saves it as a catalog. The saved catalog is automatically updated on a regular basis.
The Free version can display up to 5 products from one product category.
Amazon Creators API credentials
CategoView for Amazon uses the Amazon Creators API to retrieve product information from Amazon.
The plugin uses the Amazon Creators API credentials entered in the plugin settings (Client ID and Client Secret), together with the Associate Tag (Store ID), to connect to the Amazon API.
The plugin sends information required for product retrieval to the Amazon API when you manually update the catalog or when a scheduled catalog update runs. This includes the selected Amazon marketplace, Browse Node ID, Associate Tag (Store ID), and the Amazon Creators API credentials entered in the plugin settings. Product information returned by the API is saved as a catalog on your WordPress site and used to display products on the front end.
Use of the Amazon Creators API is subject to the Amazon Associates Program and other applicable Amazon terms and licenses for each marketplace.
For more information, please refer to the Amazon Creators API Documentation, Associates Program Operating Agreement, and Amazon.com Privacy Notice.
