CleverConnected Subscriber Sync for MailPoet adds a deliberately small, secure integration surface:
MailPoet must be installed and active. The plugin uses MailPoet’s documented PHP API and subscriber hooks; it does not access MailPoet database tables.
This plugin is developed by Ambition4Clients for use with the CleverConnected platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MailPoet or Automattic.
Authenticate with WordPress Application Passwords using HTTP Basic Auth.
POST /wp-json/cleverconnected-mailpoet/v1/subscriber
Send JSON such as:
{"email":"subscriber@example.com","first_name":"Ada","last_name":"Lovelace","lists":[4,5],"custom_fields":{"company":"Example Ltd"}}
The endpoint returns the MailPoet subscriber ID and email. Confirmation and welcome emails are not sent for API-originated updates.
When configured, the plugin sends JSON callbacks with type (subscriber.updated or subscriber.deleted), subscriber, and occurred_at. The X-CleverConnected-Signature header contains an HMAC SHA-256 signature of the exact request body, using the callback signing secret. Failed transient deliveries are retried once after five minutes.
This plugin processes subscriber contact details only to send them between your WordPress site, MailPoet and the configured CleverConnected endpoint. It does not send data to the plugin author or any other service.
