ClipRoost

ClipRoost turns your WordPress posts into short vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

How it works

1. Install the plugin and click Connect to ClipRoost in wp-admin.
2. Sign in with Google on cliproost.com (no Application Password required).
3. Select posts in WordPress and click Create video with ClipRoost.
4. Style your video in the ClipRoost editor and download your MP4.

Video rendering, the editor, and billing are hosted on cliproost.com. This plugin is a bridge between your site and ClipRoost — it does not run FFmpeg or heavy processing on your server.

Privacy

This plugin sends site URL, selected post/product metadata, and connection tokens to ClipRoost servers. See privacy-policy.txt in the plugin package.

External services

This plugin connects to the ClipRoost hosted service to pair your WordPress site, import selected posts or products into the video editor, and render MP4 videos. Video editing, rendering, and account billing run on ClipRoost infrastructure — not on your WordPress server.

When data is sent

• During site pairing: your site URL, a pairing nonce, and your Google account email (or email for magic-link sign-in).
• When you import content: metadata for the posts or products you select (title, excerpt, permalink, featured image URL, category, price).
• When you enable send-to-media-library: the rendered MP4 file.

• ClipRoost API (api.cliproost.com) — site pairing, imports, usage, and media delivery.
• ClipRoost app (app.cliproost.com) — video editor and account dashboard (opened in the browser after import).
