Conqueror – SEO

Conqueror is an SEO service that researches keywords, then improves the pages on
your site to rank for them. Its agents read your published content and propose a
rewrite; you review each proposal as a diff inside Conqueror and decide whether
to apply it.

This plugin is the starting point inside wp-admin. It does three things:

• Checks the three things that make connecting fail – HTTPS, application
  passwords, and REST API reachability – and tells you which one to fix.
• Gives you a button that opens Conqueror with this site’s URL prefilled.
• Explains what Conqueror will and will not do to your site.

Nothing on this site changes until you apply a rewrite. Conqueror never
publishes on its own.

What this plugin sends

Nothing. It stores no credentials, contains no tracking, and makes no requests to
Conqueror or any other external service. The one network request it makes is a
loopback request to your own site’s REST API, to check that an outside caller can
reach it.

Access is granted by WordPress itself, through the core application-password
screen (wp-admin/authorize-application.php), which you approve while logged
into this site. The plugin never sees the resulting password. Revoke it any time
under Users → Profile → Application Passwords, or by disconnecting in
Conqueror.
