External services

This plugin connects to the Cosmo AI FAQ Generator API to generate FAQ content using artificial intelligence. This service is operated by CosmoCode.

What data is sent and when

When you click Generate FAQ in the post editor, the plugin sends the following data to the API endpoint https://wpfaq.it/api/relay-server-gen-wpfaq-it/generate-free.php:

• Your site URL
• The post title and post content (plain text, HTML stripped)
• The post ID
• The requested number of questions (max 5 for the free tier)
• The selected language
• A timestamp and an HMAC-SHA256 signature (used to authenticate the request)

No personal data about visitors or end users is ever transmitted. Data is only sent when an admin explicitly clicks the “Generate FAQ” button.
