Digitalindo MCP for Claude AI connects Claude AI to your WordPress website using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once installed, you can instruct Claude to publish content, set SEO meta, and manage your site — without opening the dashboard.

MCP is an open standard by Anthropic that allows AI models like Claude to connect to external tools and services. Claude AI Connector exposes your WordPress site as an MCP server — so Claude can read and write content just like a human would.

🚀 How to Connect Claude to WordPress

1. Install and activate Digitalindo MCP for Claude AI
2. Go to Settings → Digitalindo MCP for Claude AI and copy your Claude Connection URL
3. Open Claude.ai → Settings → Connectors → Add Custom Connector
4. Paste the MCP Endpoint URL and API Key
5. Start giving Claude commands like: “Create a new post titled ‘Best AI Tools 2025’ with Yoast focus keyword ‘AI tools'”

💬 Example Claude Commands

After connecting, you can tell Claude:

• “Create a WordPress post titled ‘Top 10 SEO Tips’ with the content […], set the Yoast meta description to […], add it to the ‘SEO’ category, and publish it.”
• “Update post ID 42: change the slug to ‘top-10-seo-tips-2025’ and set the focus keyword to ‘SEO tips’.”
• “List all draft posts and set their status to ‘pending review’.”
• “Upload this image and set it as the featured image for post ID 12.”

🔐 Authentication & Security

• Uses a securely generated API key (auto-generated on activation)
• Optional WordPress Application Passwords support
• All API endpoints are protected — no public access without authentication
• Your content stays on your server — no data is sent to third parties

🔒 External Services

This plugin does not transmit your data to any external service. All communication happens directly between Claude AI and your WordPress REST API endpoint. Your credentials and content stay on your server.
