Diluted Test Order for WooCommerce

Diluted Test Order for WooCommerce adds a “Test order” payment method to WooCommerce. Use it to verify checkout, thank-you page, order emails and order status without going through a real payment gateway.

• Admin-only – Only users who can manage WooCommerce (e.g. administrators or shop managers) see the method at checkout.
• Orders placed with this method are marked as paid immediately. The normal post-payment flow runs (customer emails, stock reduction, etc.).

Requires WooCommerce 6.0+. Compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and the block-based checkout.

Usage

Log in as an administrator or shop manager, add a product to the cart, go to checkout. Select “Test order (fake payment)” and place the order. The order completes and you are redirected to the thank-you page.

Order details

• Payment method in admin: “Test order (admin only)” or the title you set in settings.
• Transaction ID on the order: diluted_test_order_{order_id} (so you can identify test orders).
