Edit By ID

This plugin adds a simple “Edit by ID” field to the WP Admin Bar, giving you the ability to instantly edit any post, page, or other ID’d item on the site just by entering that item’s post ID and pressing Enter.

This feature is visible only to users with Editor roles and above.

Please note: This plugin is meant to be as simplistic as possible. It doesn’t show ID’s in the backend… many existing plugins do that. Hovering over Edit links will also expost ID’s. I’m happy to review PR’s for suggested improvements, especially around edge cases I may not have anticipated, but I will politely decline to add functionality if it exceeds a certain complexity scope.
