You shouldn’t need 4 plugins and a developer to add a business directory to your site.
Most WordPress users who want structured content like directories, job boards, or listing pages end up installing a custom fields plugin, a forms plugin, a display plugin, and then hiring someone to wire them all together. Even then, the moment you create your fields, nothing shows up on your site without editing templates.
EntryKit replaces that entire stack with one plugin.
Pick a starter kit. Toggle submissions on. It’s on your site. That’s it. No templates. No shortcode IDs. No custom field jargon. No CSS. Your content displays automatically in clean, responsive layouts the moment you create it.
Simple enough that your grandma could set up a business directory. Powerful enough that a developer wouldn’t need to.
EntryKit comes with 5 ready-made starter kits so you can launch in minutes, plus a custom builder to create anything you can think of:
🏢 Business Directory — Let visitors submit local businesses. Display them as cards with contact info, hours, and categories. Perfect for chambers of commerce, community sites, and niche directories.
💼 Job Board — Accept job postings with structured fields for company, location, salary, and type. Display as a searchable list or card grid.
👥 Staff / Team Directory — Showcase your team with photos, bios, titles, and contact details. One click to set up. No theme editing required.
📅 Event Listings — Collect community events with dates, times, locations, and ticket links. Calendar date picker built in.
🏷️ Coupon & Deal Site — Let visitors submit deals with codes, discounts, and expiration dates. Great for affiliate and deal sites.
🔧 Build Your Own — Need a recipe site? Pet adoption board? Tool lending library? Course directory? Build any content type from scratch with 13 field types. Name it, add fields, pick a layout, done.
No templates to edit. No shortcode IDs to copy. No CSS to write.

We designed EntryKit with one rule: if someone who only knows how to write a blog post and upload a photo can’t figure it out in 5 minutes, we failed.
No field groups. No meta keys. No template overrides. No “consult the documentation.” You pick what you’re building, the plugin handles the rest. The moment you create fields, they show up on your site. That’s the bar.
This plugin optionally connects to the following third-party services for spam protection on frontend submission forms. No external service is used unless the site administrator explicitly enables it in the EntryKit settings and provides their own API keys.
When enabled, the Google reCAPTCHA JavaScript library is loaded on pages that display an EntryKit submission form. When a visitor submits the form, a verification token is sent from the visitor’s browser to Google, and the plugin sends that token along with your secret key to Google’s siteverify API to confirm the submission is not spam.
When enabled, the Cloudflare Turnstile JavaScript widget is loaded on pages that display an EntryKit submission form. When a visitor submits the form, a verification token is sent from the visitor’s browser to Cloudflare, and the plugin sends that token along with your secret key to Cloudflare’s siteverify API to confirm the submission is not spam.
