Export Gravity Forms entries to CSV or Excel (XLSX) in a few clicks. Filter by date range, optionally include spam, and download instantly.
Exportly for Gravity adds a dedicated export screen inside the Gravity Forms admin menu. Choose a form, pick a file format, optionally narrow the results by date, and download every matching entry as a CSV or Excel (XLSX) file.
Collecting form submissions is easy. Getting them out in a clean, usable format is often not. Exportly for Gravity is a fast, no-code tool for teams that need entry data in spreadsheets, reporting tools, CRM imports, mailing lists, or backup and archive files β and it produces the same predictable layout every time.
There is no settings page to manage and nothing to configure first. Everything you need is on one screen.
Forms > Exportly for Gravity and select a form from the Select Form dropdown.Download Export File. The plugin verifies the request, fetches the formβs active (non-trashed, non-spam) entries, applies your date filters, and streams the generated file directly to your browser. When the spam toggle is on, spam entries are also fetched and merged into the export.Export Entries by Form β Choose any single Gravity Form and export its submissions, newest first. One form is exported per download.
CSV Export β A universal format that opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, most CRMs, and almost any data tool. CSV is selected by default.
XLSX Export β A native Microsoft Excel workbook, built with the bundled PhpSpreadsheet library, for teams that work primarily in Excel.
Date-Range Filtering β Limit the export to entries received between a Start Date and an End Date. Leave both blank to export every entry. Ideal for monthly, quarterly, or campaign-based reporting.
Optional Spam Entries β Entries flagged as spam are left out by default. A single toggle includes them when you need to review or audit flagged submissions. Trashed entries are never exported.
Standard Entry Information β Every export includes entry date, user agent, IP address, source URL, starred status, and read status.
Readable Field Columns β Gravity Forms field values are exported with readable field labels as column headers.
Full Multi-Input Field Support β Fields with several parts, such as Name, Address, and Checkboxes, get one clearly labelled column per input (for example βName (First)β and βName (Last)β), so no information is lost.
Every Field Type Covered β Field values are rendered with Gravity Formsβ own export logic, so no field type is missed.
Display-Only Fields Skipped β HTML, section, page break, and CAPTCHA fields store no entry data and are left out of the file.
Reliable Large CSV Exports β CSV exports stream in batches, so large forms export reliably without exhausting memory.
Standards-Compliant CSV β CSV output follows strict RFC 4180, so values containing backslashes export and re-import unchanged.
Automatic File Naming β Files are named from the formβs title and the current date, for example contact-form-2026-07-20.csv, so multiple exports of the same form never overwrite each other.
Permission-Aware β Uses the WordPress admin area and Gravity Forms capabilities to control who can export.
Accessible Export Screen β Reduced-motion support and a visible focus indicator in Windows High Contrast Mode.
Developer Filters β Customize exported columns and rows with the exportly_headers and exportly_entries filters.
Every file follows the same layout, which makes it easy to work with and safe to reuse. Each row is one entry.
Standard information columns come first:
Your formβs field columns follow. Each field becomes its own column, using the label you gave it, and multi-part fields are split into one column per part.
Access to the export screen is controlled by WordPress and Gravity Forms permissions, which keeps entry data restricted to trusted staff:
Files produced by Exportly for Gravity are designed to be read back in by its companion plugin, Importly for Gravity. Together they make it easy to move entries between forms or between websites β useful for migrations, backups, and moving data between staging and live sites.
If you plan to import a file later, keep it exactly as downloaded. Do not rename, remove, or reorder the columns: the import expects the exact column layout produced by Exportly.
