This plugin is the connector: it adds the GlobalChatbot widget to every page of your site. The AI agent itself runs on GlobalChatbot, so you need a GlobalChatbot account (14-day free trial, no credit card).

External services

This plugin loads the GlobalChatbot chat widget from https://globalchatbot.ai/widget.js on the front end of your site, after you enter a Widget ID in Settings → GlobalChatbot. Without a Widget ID nothing is loaded.

When a visitor opens the chat and sends a message, the message, the page address and a random session identifier are sent to GlobalChatbot so the AI agent can answer. If the visitor types contact details (for example an email address), they are stored as a lead for the site owner.
