HandyTech LKR Currency Symbol Changer

HandyTech LKR Currency Symbol Changer is a WordPress plugin that allows you to customize the currency symbol for Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) in your WooCommerce store. By default, WooCommerce displays the localized Sri Lankan Rupees symbol (රු), but this plugin lets you easily change it to any custom symbol you prefer, such as “LKR” or any other text.

Usage

After activation, the plugin adds a new admin menu item called “Currency Symbol” under the WordPress dashboard. Simply:

1. Go to Dashboard → Currency Symbol
2. Enter your preferred currency symbol in the text field
3. Click “Save Changes”
4. The custom currency symbol will now display in your WooCommerce store instead of the default LKR symbol

How It Works

This plugin:
* Registers a custom WordPress setting for currency symbol customization

* Hooks into WooCommerce’s woocommerce_currency_symbol filter to replace the default LKR symbol
