Hogan Automatic AI helps administrators review and clean selected post titles and content that may contain common AI-style formatting, phrases, or repetition. All changes require an administrator to select the content and explicitly apply an action. The built-in cleanup and scan tools run locally; optional AI rewriting uses the WordPress core AI Client (WordPress 7.0+) when a provider is configured, or OpenAI directly as a fallback, only when configured and explicitly requested.
Key Features:
—), smart quotes, and removes robotic phrases like “In conclusion” or “It is important to note”.In conclusion, => Overall,.wp-content/uploads/Hogan_Backup/.This plugin can connect to the WordPress core AI Client (WordPress 7.0+), OpenAI directly, and TutivSoft billing services. These connections are optional and are used only when the corresponding feature is configured and an administrator explicitly uses the related AI or subscription action. The built-in cleanup, scan, preview, backup, and restore features do not require any of these services.
On WordPress 7.0 and later, AI rewriting is sent through the WordPress core AI Client using the provider the site owner has configured under Settings > AI Credentials (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). Hogan Automatic AI does not manage those credentials itself; they are entered once, site-wide, in WordPress core and used only when an administrator runs an AI rewriting action. Requests are subject to the terms and privacy policy of whichever provider the site owner has configured there.
On WordPress versions earlier than 7.0, or on WordPress 7.0+ sites where no core AI Client provider has been configured, the plugin falls back to calling OpenAI directly using an OpenAI API key an administrator enters in Hogan AI Settings. In that fallback path, the plugin sends the selected post text, configured editing instructions, and relevant context to OpenAI only when an administrator runs an AI rewriting action and has configured that key. The plugin does not send content during Safe Scan, preview, or the built-in Basic De-AI cleanup. OpenAI may process submitted data according to its own policies.

TutivSoft billing is used for optional subscription checkout, the billing portal, installation callback registration, and subscription entitlement synchronization. When an administrator opens the Subscription screen or uses a billing action, the plugin can send the site URL, site name, installation or external customer ID, application ID, billing email, selected product or price ID, and callback URL to the configured TutivSoft billing endpoint. The service can send signed subscription entitlement updates back to the site’s REST callback URL. Subscription state is synchronized when the Subscription screen is opened or when an administrator requests a manual refresh. Post content is not sent to TutivSoft by the cleanup or AI service.

The plugin stores configured settings, subscription state, and local backup files in the WordPress installation. It does not collect analytics or track visitors. The optional external-service behavior is described in the External services section above. Administrators should review the linked provider terms and privacy policies before enabling those services.
