Precise targeting and eligibility

Target or exclude products, variations, categories, tags, global attributes and local product attributes. Conditions include cart contents, quantity, subtotal, weight, destination, customer role, selected payment or shipping method, account metadata and registered purchase history. Combine conditions with nested All/Any groups.

Rules can require selected coupons, exclude sale products, control coupon interaction and run on date ranges, daily windows or selected weekdays. Campaign quotas can limit discounted units and are checked again during checkout.

Predictable priorities

Reorder promotions by drag and drop or accessible keyboard controls. Choose the first eligible rule, the best complete offer or sequential stacking. Revision checks protect against overwriting a promotion edited in another tab.

Preview and explain

The cart simulator compares saved promotions using real products, native coupons, product taxes and supported shipping methods. It explains why each rule did or did not apply. Product pages can show quantity-price examples, countdowns and current promotion lists. Reports preserve promotion details recorded on order lines.

The simulator is a planning tool. A real checkout remains the final check for stock, custom shipping packages, external extensions and payment-specific behavior.

Works independently

The plugin does not require another HookSpark plugin or a paid edition. Optional connections with other HookSpark plugins are described below; each plugin is configured separately.

Built for WooCommerce

HookSpark develops this plugin for WooCommerce. Classic cart and checkout, selected Cart/Checkout Blocks and Store API flows, variations, native coupons, taxes and HPOS have local test evidence.

Optional integrations with other HookSpark plugins

• HookSpark Min/Max Quantities: combine promotions with quantity and order-amount limits. Pricing previews can show Min/Max restrictions. Configure the limits in Min/Max, including whether an amount limit is checked before or after discounts. Download Min/Max for free on WordPress.org.
• HookSpark Product Options & Add-Ons: apply supported promotions to the unit price calculated from the product and its selected options. The integration restores that base before recalculating, avoiding repeated discounts when cart totals run again.
• HookSpark Cart Notices & Checkout Messages: connect a message to a Pricing rule so it appears only when that rule has actually reduced prices in the cart. The message does not create the discount. If the connected Pricing provider is unavailable, the dependent message stays hidden.

These connections are optional and require compatible versions of the relevant plugins. Installing plugins together does not create or enable promotions, limits or messages automatically.

Optional AI configuration: WordPress Abilities API and MCP

Use a compatible AI client to read promotion summaries and prepare a new promotion through the WordPress Abilities API and the official WordPress MCP Adapter (Model Context Protocol). AI access is disabled by default and uses one shared HookSpark > AI Access switch across installed HookSpark plugins.

• Read promotion summaries; customer targeting and private conditions are omitted. Summaries are not complete rule exports or predictions of eligibility.
• Prepare supported discounts, quantity tiers, buy/get rewards, fixed-price groups, cart discounts, checkout fees and shipping adjustments.
• Review the validated proposal in your browser using the same WordPress account that requested it. Nothing is saved until you approve it; proposals expire after 15 minutes and are checked again before saving.
• This connection creates a new promotion; it does not edit existing rules or change your promotion strategy.

AI access requires an available WordPress Abilities API, the official MCP Adapter, a compatible client and a WordPress user with shop-management permission. For remote connections, use HTTPS and a WordPress Application Password. Normal manual configuration works without these optional components.

HookSpark does not include an AI model or automatically send information to an AI service. A client you authorize can retrieve the supported configuration; any external AI provider you choose has its own data handling and possible charges. No HookSpark account or subscription is required.

Requirements and boundaries

Requires WooCommerce 10.6 or later, WordPress 6.8 or later and PHP 8.2 or later. Current native checks cover WordPress 7.1.2, WooCommerce 11.1 and PHP 8.2.29. Other PHP branches and every intermediate platform combination have not been verified.

The simulator cannot predict every custom shipping package, payment gateway or pricing extension. Elementor, Avada and other untested third-party stacks are not declared compatible. Test representative products, taxes, coupons, customer roles and checkout methods on staging before enabling a broad promotion.
