Bring your own API key. This plugin is free; AI usage is billed directly by your chosen provider under your own account, typically a fraction of a cent per generation.
On WordPress 7.0 and later, if the site owner has configured an AI provider under Settings Connectors, the plugin uses the WordPress core AI Client automatically — credentials are managed by WordPress core, and requests go to whichever provider the site owner configured there. On older WordPress versions, or when no core provider is configured, the plugin connects directly to the API of the AI provider you select and configure in the plugin settings. One of these is required to generate the video tags — no tags can be generated without it.
What is sent: the video title and optional video description entered into the generator form, together with your API key for authentication. Data is sent only when a visitor clicks the “Generate Tags” button, and only to the single provider selected in the settings. No other personal data, and no data about your site or its visitors, is transmitted.
