Juniustech Gold Price Calculator fetches live gold prices via the Alpha Vantage API, converts them to CHF, and displays an interactive karat price table on any page.

External services

This plugin connects to the Alpha Vantage API to retrieve live gold spot prices
and currency exchange rates. This is required because the calculator shows
up-to-date values instead of static prices; without it the plugin cannot
calculate a current gold value.

What data is sent and when: a request is sent to Alpha Vantage each time the
cached price data expires and a page containing the calculator is loaded, and
when an administrator saves the settings page to verify the connection. The
request contains only the lookup parameters (the metal symbol and currency
codes, e.g. XAU, USD, CHF) and the site owner’s own Alpha Vantage API key.
No personal data, no visitor information and no site content is transmitted
by this plugin.
