Kaddora Marketing Popups lets administrators create, preview, publish, pause, duplicate, and manage popups from the WordPress dashboard. It includes display/targeting settings, forms and form actions, submission management, CSV export, local analytics, privacy exporter/eraser integrations, and a template gallery.
The Pro section keeps visible upgrade links and lock indicators. These are preview/marketing entries only; their paid implementations are not shipped in the directory package:
The two free template definitions are in includes/class-kaddora-marketing-popups-templates.php. includes/templates/campaigns.json contains only Pro preview metadata (slug, name, category, thumbnail, and JPG path), not designs/settings. The catalog loader validates metadata; the server importer accepts only the two free slugs.
Guideline 5 separation: the Pro element/background-image entries are upgrade signposts only; their implementations and editable Pro designs are not shipped here. The six free elements and two free templates are usable without a license check. WordPress.org makes the final compliance decision.
The gallery contains 330 named designs (2 editable free templates and 328 Pro preview cards), plus a blank canvas. The ZIP includes 14 campaign PNGs, 30 mockup JPGs and 328 per-template static JPG previews. The distribution contains the generated raster assets; the development-only Python/Pillow artwork-generation scripts and the separate Pro template source catalog are not included and are not required to install or run the plugin.
[kaddora_pbk_popup id="123"] — render a popup by ID.[kaddora_pbk_trigger id="123" label="Open popup"] — render a button that opens a popup by ID.Replace 123 with an existing popup ID. Only Kaddora-prefixed shortcodes are registered. If existing post/page content uses [pbk_popup] or [pbk_trigger], replace those tags with [kaddora_pbk_popup] or [kaddora_pbk_trigger] respectively.
gtag function is available, and Do Not Track does not block tracking under the plugin setting, selected popup event names plus the popup ID and title are passed to that gtag function. The site’s own Google Analytics setup controls transmission to Google. See Google Analytics Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.wp_mail(). The actual mail transport/provider is configured by the site owner; email content includes the applicable submission data or configured auto-reply text. WordPress does not choose a separate mail service on the plugin’s behalf. The site owner is responsible for privacy-policy disclosures, any required consent/legal basis, retention and security choices, and responding to data requests. The plugin’s suggested privacy text is only a starting point, not legal advice. For a webhook, consult the terms and privacy notice of the specific endpoint service chosen by the administrator.
The plugin’s declared license is GPL-2.0-or-later (GNU GPL version 2 or, at your option, any later version). LICENSE.txt contains the complete GPLv2 text. The license declaration applies only to material the copyright holder owns or is authorized to license; it does not grant rights to third-party material.
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt documents build-tool and optional system-font notices relevant to the included artwork. The maintainer must independently verify and retain supporting rights records for every included image, font-derived output, and other third-party component. File hashes, when maintained privately, identify files but do not independently establish copyright ownership or redistribution permission.
The 44 campaign/mockup raster assets and 328 static Pro preview snapshots are distributed as image files. They do not contain editable Pro template definitions. Python/Pillow and optional system fonts were used only in the maintainer’s build environment; neither Python tooling nor the separate Pro design catalog is required or included for runtime use. THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt documents the relevant build-tool and optional system-font notices. No Depicter code, artwork, or license grant is included or implied.
The distributed PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and JSON source files are readable and are included in the ZIP. The excluded Python/Pillow artwork-generation scripts were used only in the artwork preparation workflow; they are not required by WordPress at runtime, and they do not minify or bundle the PHP/JavaScript/CSS runtime code. The ZIP contains the resulting static image assets. This package does not provide a public repository URL for the excluded artwork-generation scripts; if public source access to those tools is required for review or reproducibility, the maintainer must publish them and add the actual repository URL before submission. WordPress APIs are provided by the site’s installation. The GPL license does not grant rights to third-party trademarks or services.
