Konversa

Konversa is a WhatsApp customer service platform with an optional AI agent and a built-in CRM. This plugin brings your WordPress site into it.

This plugin requires a Konversa account. Without a connection key it does not send anything anywhere. The plugin interface is in Brazilian Portuguese.

• WhatsApp button for the number connected to Konversa, with a prefilled message, tooltip, color, position, device choice and pages where it stays hidden. With the AI agent on, the agent answers; with it off, the conversation goes straight to your team.
• Contact form [konversa_formulario]: name, email and phone are required; subject, message and extra fields are optional. Every submission becomes a card in the first stage of your Konversa pipeline, with what the visitor wrote. If the person already talks to you on WhatsApp, it is the same card.
• No lead is lost: every submission is saved on your site before it is sent to Konversa. If Konversa or the internet is down, the site retries on its own, and the Submissions screen shows the status of each one. Delivered submissions are removed from your site after 7 days, since they are already in Konversa, and undelivered ones 30 days after the last attempt.
• Forms you already have: Contact Form 7, Elementor Pro and WPForms submissions can also be delivered to Konversa. Each one is off until you turn it on.
• Optional email notice: each contact can also arrive by email, independent of Konversa.
• Works with page cache and without JavaScript.

For developers

• Send contacts from your theme’s own forms: konversa_enviar_contato( array( 'nome' => ..., 'email' => ..., 'telefone' => ... ) ).
• Link any button to the form with a subject already chosen: konversa_link_formulario( 'subject' ) or a link to #konversa=subject.
• Check if the plugin’s WhatsApp button is live: konversa_whatsapp_no_ar().

External services

This plugin connects to Konversa (https://konversa.app.br), the service it was made for. Nothing is sent until a site administrator pastes a Konversa connection key in Konversa > Conexão. Every request carries the connection key (in the Authorization header), the plugin version and your site’s address (in the User-Agent header).

What is sent, and when:

• Connection test (GET /api/v1/conexao): when an administrator clicks “Salvar e testar”. Only the key and the site address are sent.
• Contacts (POST /api/v1/contatos): when a visitor submits the [konversa_formulario] form, or a Contact Form 7, Elementor Pro or WPForms form that the administrator chose to connect. It sends the name, email, phone, subject, message, extra fields, the page address where the form was sent, the consent note (when the consent box is used) and a submission ID. If delivery fails, WP-Cron retries every 5 minutes with growing delays, up to 12 attempts.
• WhatsApp button settings (POST /api/v1/whatsapp): when an administrator saves the WhatsApp or Connection screen, and once after a plugin update. It sends the WhatsApp number and the prefilled message (empty when the button is off), so Konversa can tag people who come from the site.

The WhatsApp button is a link to WhatsApp (https://wa.me), a service by Meta. The plugin does not contact WhatsApp; the visitor’s browser opens wa.me only when the visitor clicks the button, with your number and the prefilled message in the link.
