Maras Tech Accessibility Auditor runs automated accessibility checks from your own WordPress admin. It uses a locally bundled axe-core engine and does not claim or certify WCAG conformance. Automated results are always shown separately from checks that require human review.
Features include:
The plugin can detect many technical issues such as missing accessible names, invalid ARIA use, structural problems and some contrast or target-size concerns. It cannot reliably determine whether alternative text is meaningful, whether captions are accurate, whether keyboard flow is logical, or whether content is understandable in context. A clean automated report is not a WCAG conformance claim.
No visitor-facing code, dashboard widgets, admin notices, external scanning services, tracking, or remote analytics are added.
Checks run in the administrator’s browser against pages from the same site. Results are stored only in this WordPress installation; no scan data is transmitted to a third party. The plugin stores report metadata, issue summaries and element selectors needed to locate findings. It does not store page HTML or form values.
You can delete one saved report or all saved reports from the Accessibility screen. Permanently deleting the plugin removes all data created by the plugin; see the FAQ for details.
This plugin bundles axe-core, distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. See the licenses directory for details.
