MyLiking adds an accessibility panel to your WordPress site. Visitors open it from a button in the corner of the page and adjust the site to suit how they read: larger text, higher contrast, a reading guide, a bigger cursor, paused animations and more.
You don’t need to change your theme or your content. Sign in to MyLiking from the plugin’s settings page and the panel appears on every page of your site.
One-click profiles set several options at once: Epileptic, ADHD, Color Blind, Visually Impaired, Dyslexia, Motor Impaired and Specific Learning Disorder.
Visitors can also change each setting on its own:
The plugin is free. MyLiking itself is a paid service: ¥19,800 per year including tax (about ¥1,650 a month), with a 2-week free trial. One contract covers your domain and all its subdomains. See liking.jp for current pricing.
MyLiking aims to support JIS X 8341-3:2016 and WCAG 2.1 and later as far as possible. Accessibility also depends on your site’s own structure, content and code, so installing MyLiking does not by itself make your site fully accessible or guarantee conformance to these standards.
This plugin relies on the MyLiking service, operated by Toreador Inc. at liking.jp. A MyLiking account is required. No data is sent to any other third party.
When an administrator clicks “Sign in with MyLiking”, they are redirected to liking.jp to log in. The plugin sends the site’s admin URL so liking.jp can return the administrator to it, and receives an access token. This happens only when an administrator signs in, and when the token is renewed.
On the plugin’s settings page, the plugin reads and saves the widget color, position and visibility for your site on liking.jp. Only the administrator’s choices and the access token are sent, and only while the administrator is using the settings page.
Once your site is connected, the plugin loads the MyLiking widget script from liking.jp on the front end. The visitor’s browser then loads your site’s widget settings from liking.jp. The plugin itself sends no personal data about visitors.
