Odysseo Core gives a WordPress site everything a travel business needs to publish
its offering — the content types, the search-engine markup, and the enquiry
handling — without touching a line of code.
It is the companion plugin for the free Odysseo travel theme. The theme draws
the pages; this plugin owns the data and the SEO. They are built to work together,
but your content belongs to the plugin, so it stays with you even if you change
themes later.
Any site that needs to publish places, trips or vehicles:
If you are running a blog, a shop or a portfolio, you do not need this plugin.
Five travel content types — added to your WordPress admin, ready to fill in:
Automatic SEO — nothing to configure
The moment the plugin is active it starts producing correct markup for every page:
Values are only published when the data actually exists. Nothing is invented — no
fake ratings and no made-up prices.
Optional AI assist
A “Generate with AI” button on the SEO box drafts an SEO title and meta
description from the post you are editing. It is off until you add your own API
key, it only runs when you click it, and it is never required — you can write
everything by hand. See “External services” below.
Contact inquiries
The theme’s contact form is handled here: submissions are stored on your own site
under Inquiries (so nothing is lost if an email bounces) and emailed to your
configured address. A honeypot field blocks the usual spam bots.
One-click demo import
Install the free “One Click Demo Import” plugin and you can reproduce the full
demo site — destinations, packages, fleet, gallery, testimonials, pages, menu and
photos — in one click, then edit it into your own.
Yes, safely. The post types, meta boxes, SEO output and inquiries all keep working
under any theme, and your content is never locked in. What another theme will not
have is Odysseo’s designed layouts, so destinations and packages will fall back to
that theme’s normal post template. For the full design, use the Odysseo theme.
This plugin adds no tracking, no analytics and no telemetry, and sends nothing to
the author. Contact-form submissions stay on your own site and go only to the
address you configure. The optional “Generate with AI” assist is the only feature
that contacts an outside service, and only when you click it.
This plugin includes an optional “Generate with AI” button on the SEO meta box that
drafts an SEO title and meta description for a post. It is off by default, requires
you to choose a provider and enter your own API key, and only runs when you click
the button. When clicked, the post’s title and content are sent to the AI provider
you configured, using your own key, and the suggested text is returned. Nothing is
sent unless you click the button, and nothing is sent to the plugin/theme author.
You choose one of the following providers and supply your own API key:
OpenAI — requests are sent to api.openai.com only if you select OpenAI and enter
an OpenAI API key.

Google Gemini — requests are sent to generativelanguage.googleapis.com only if
you select Google and enter a Google AI (Gemini) API key.
