PAC Taxonomy Bridge for WooCommerce

PAC Taxonomy Bridge for WooCommerce connects WooCommerce product taxonomy changes to Claris FileMaker Server in real time through the FileMaker Data API.

Instead of periodically polling WooCommerce for changes, the plugin notifies FileMaker immediately when product taxonomy data is created, updated or deleted.

The Free edition provides a complete real-time workflow for:

• Product categories
• Global product attributes
• Attribute values

A single FileMaker script receives the WooCommerce object ID together with its scope, allowing FileMaker to identify what changed and run the appropriate business logic immediately.

For example:

• categoria
• attributo

This makes it possible to keep WooCommerce and FileMaker taxonomy data synchronized without cron jobs, scheduled polling or middleware.

Professional edition

PAC Taxonomy Bridge Professional extends the integration with independent FileMaker destinations for each taxonomy type.

For Categories, Attributes and Attribute Values you can configure a separate:

• FileMaker database
• Layout
• Script

Professional also adds:

• Automatic retries

• Custom CA certificate support
• Advanced diagnostics

The Professional edition is useful when categories, attributes and attribute values are managed by different FileMaker tables, layouts, scripts or even different FileMaker files.

How it works

1. A supported WooCommerce taxonomy event occurs.
2. PAC Taxonomy Bridge authenticates with the FileMaker Data API.
3. The configured FileMaker script is executed immediately.
4. The WooCommerce object ID is passed as script.param.
5. FileMaker processes the change according to your own scripts and business logic.
6. The Data API session is closed.

The FileMaker-side implementation remains entirely under your control.

Requirements

• HTTPS connectivity between WordPress and FileMaker Server
