The Core is a complete affiliate system, not a limited demo. Install it for free, launch your affiliate program, and extend it with optional modular addons only when you need additional capabilities.

Run Your Affiliate Program Inside WooCommerce

Customers can apply to become affiliates directly from their WooCommerce My Account area.

Once approved, each affiliate receives a unique referral link and access to an affiliate dashboard where they can monitor clicks, sales, earnings, pending commissions and withdrawal availability.

Withdrawal Management

Affiliates can request withdrawals when their eligible balance reaches the minimum amount configured by the store.

Store managers can configure:

• Minimum withdrawal amount.
• Withdrawal waiting period.
• A custom explanation for the waiting period.
• Affiliate payout information.
• Withdrawal approval and completion workflow.

The waiting period can be used to keep commissions unavailable for withdrawal until your refund period has passed.

Polanger Affiliate records payout information and withdrawal status, but does not transfer money automatically.

Payments are made separately by the store owner. After payment has been sent through the chosen payment provider, the withdrawal can be marked as completed inside Polanger Affiliate.

Free Modular Addons Included

Polanger Affiliate uses a modular architecture so you can enable additional capabilities without turning the Core into an oversized all-in-one plugin.

Two addons are included with the free distribution:

• Affiliate Link Tools — Give affiliates additional promotional tools including product-specific referral links, social sharing and locally generated QR codes.
• Affiliate Leaderboard — Create a public affiliate ranking page with configurable display and privacy options.

Enable or disable these features under PG Affiliate > Addons.

Neither included addon requires a license key.

Extend Polanger Affiliate with Optional Addons

Recurring Commissions requires Lifetime Referral and a compatible subscription integration.

Premium addons are separate WordPress plugins. Their implementation code is not included in the WordPress.org package and they are not required to operate Polanger Affiliate Core.

All functionality shipped inside the free package works without a license key or paid activation.

Privacy and Data

The Core does not send telemetry or affiliate records to Polanger or another external service.

Email notifications use the site’s configured WordPress mail system and are sent to the store administrator or the affected affiliate.

The pas_ref cookie stores a referral code for 30 days by default. The duration is configurable from 1 to 365 days, and only approved affiliate codes are accepted.

Referral tracking respects marketing consent from the WordPress Consent API when installed. Stores using another consent manager can connect it through the pas_pro_allow_referral_tracking filter.

Store owners are responsible for configuring consent and privacy disclosures appropriate to their site.

Stored data includes affiliate user IDs, names, email addresses, referral codes, payout details, associated order IDs, commissions and withdrawal history.

New click records contain a site-specific hash of the visitor IP for repeat-click control. Raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are not stored.

Click records are removed after 30 days by default. The retention period is configurable in the plugin settings. Previously collected click records age out under the same retention rule.

Suggested privacy-policy text is available in WordPress.

Tools > Export Personal Data includes affiliate and payout records.

Erase Personal Data removes clicks and accounts without financial history. Financial records and their associated account details are retained for store-administrator review, and the erasure response reports this retention.

Deactivation preserves plugin data.

Uninstall permanently deletes the plugin’s tables, options and metadata.

Requirements

Polanger Affiliate System for WooCommerce requires:

• WordPress 6.5 or newer.
• PHP 7.4 or newer.
• An active WooCommerce installation.
• InnoDB tables for financial operations.
• Database permission to acquire the named lock required by versioned schema migrations.

If a required database migration cannot be completed, Polanger Affiliate displays an actionable error instead of silently continuing with an incomplete database structure.

QR generation happens locally. No external QR service receives the referral link.

Share destinations open only when the visitor chooses a share button.

Affiliate Leaderboard names and rankings are publicly visible when the store enables its public leaderboard page. Enable the available anonymization option when appropriate for your site’s privacy requirements.
