PublishRelay Connector

This plugin will identify your site with PublishRelay and securely sync posts once authentication is configured. Version 0.5.1 adds automatic redirect to the auth page after activation alongside UUID generation, setup ping, polling for auth, initial full sync, and ongoing publish sync.

External services

This plugin connects to the PublishRelay API at app.publishrelay.com to sync your WordPress content with the PublishRelay platform.

What data is sent:

• Authentication token (UUID): A unique identifier generated during plugin setup, used to authenticate your site with PublishRelay.
• Post content: When posts or pages are published or updated, the following data is sent: post ID, title, slug, content, excerpt, status, type, permalink, publish date, modified date, author information (ID, name, email), categories, tags, and featured image URL.

When data is sent:

• During initial setup, to verify site authorization.
• When a full sync is triggered (typically once after authorization).
• Whenever a post or page is published or updated.
