Revclar SMS Confirmations

Revclar SMS Confirmations helps WooCommerce stores that ship cash-on-delivery (COD) orders reduce fake orders, wrong addresses and return-to-sender deliveries.

For every new COD order, the plugin asks our secure service to send the customer an SMS with a link to a mobile-friendly confirmation page. The customer confirms the shipping address (or reports it as wrong) and the result is written back to the WooCommerce order as a private order note — so your team knows which orders are safe to pack and ship.

External Services

This plugin connects your store to the Revclar SMS Confirmations service and to Stripe. It cannot function without these connections. Here is exactly what is sent, where, and when:

Revclar SMS Confirmations API (https://smsconfirmations-woo.revclar.com)

This is the service that sends the SMS messages and hosts the customer confirmation pages.

• When you connect the plugin (pairing): your store URL, a WooCommerce REST API consumer key/secret generated locally (used by the service only to write order notes back to your store), your WordPress and WooCommerce versions and your site locale.
• When a new order reaches a trigger status (processing/on-hold): the order ID and number, customer name, customer phone number, shipping address (street, city, postcode, country), payment method, order status, order total and currency, and the order language (when provided by WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress). The phone number is used exclusively to send the confirmation SMS; the address is shown to the customer on the confirmation page.
• When you open the plugin settings in wp-admin: your API token is sent to fetch your settings, wallet balance, usage and billing status.
• When you start a subscription or wallet top-up: your chosen plan or amount and the return URL of your wp-admin page.

Stripe (https://stripe.com)

Used for paid subscriptions and wallet top-ups.

• When you start a payment in wp-admin, the Stripe.js library is loaded from https://js.stripe.com and an embedded Stripe checkout is displayed in the page. Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure fields and are sent only to Stripe — they never pass through your WordPress server or the Revclar service.
• The Revclar service communicates with the Stripe API (https://api.stripe.com) server-side to create checkout sessions, manage subscriptions and list your invoices.
