SafeSwitch Conflict Tester

SafeSwitch Conflict Tester provides a safe environment to troubleshoot and isolate plugin conflicts on your live WordPress website.

When you enable Safe Mode, the plugin sets up an isolated session for your logged-in administrator user. Inside this session, you can selectively enable or disable plugins to pinpoint conflicts.

Crucially, your live visitors and search engine crawlers are completely unaffected—they will continue to see the website running all active plugins normally.

How it works:

1. Isolated Session: Safe Mode creates a custom session cookie (ssct_safe_mode_session) and generates a shadow configuration of active plugins for your user.
2. MU-Plugin Interceptor: The plugin installs a Must-Use (MU) plugin (ssct-interceptor.php) early in WordPress’s loading process to intercept early loading and filter the loaded plugins list based on your shadow configuration.
3. Zero Impact on Visitors: Live visitors do not have the session cookie, meaning they bypass the interceptor entirely and experience the site with standard active plugins.
