Skyalo eSIM Affiliate Widget

Skyalo eSIM Affiliate Widget turns a travel website, blog, or agency site into an eSIM sales channel.

The widget detects which country a page is about without sending page content to a third party. It then displays current Skyalo plans, real retail prices, and direct checkout buttons for that destination. An approved Skyalo affiliate slug attributes referred purchases to the site owner.

The widget is not injected automatically after activation. Live Skyalo requests
are also disabled by default. An administrator must enable live data and then
insert the block/shortcode or explicitly enable site-wide placement in
Settings > Skyalo eSIM.

External services

After an administrator explicitly enables live data, this plugin connects from
the WordPress server to Skyalo (https://skyalo.com) to retrieve:

• the list of published eSIM destinations;
• featured plans, package identifiers, durations, and final retail prices;
• an estimated display price in the automatically selected currency.

Catalog and plan requests include the selected destination, resolved Skyalo
locale, display currency, result limit, and plugin version in the user agent.
No request includes the page title, page URL, article content, visitor identity,
affiliate account details, commission rate, balance, clicks, orders, or payment
details. Responses are cached locally in WordPress.

When a visitor clicks Buy eSIM, their browser opens Skyalo checkout. The checkout URL includes the selected package identifier, standard UTM campaign parameters, and the affiliate slug configured by the site owner. Skyalo may then set attribution cookies and process the purchase under its own policies.

Currency conversion uses European Central Bank reference rates fetched by Skyalo. ECB rates are informational reference rates and converted widget prices are clearly marked as estimates.

Privacy

Country detection runs locally on the WordPress server. Page content is never
transmitted to Skyalo. The WordPress plugin stores only its administrator
settings and cached public catalog/plan responses. Plugin-owned settings and
cached responses are removed when the plugin is uninstalled.
