Sovereign Settle – Stablecoin Gateway for WooCommerce is a non-custodial WooCommerce payment gateway. Customers send payment directly to the merchant wallet configured for the selected asset. The plugin does not hold funds or provide a hosted wallet.
The gateway creates an order-specific quote and payment window, displays the exact amount and receiving address, accepts the customer’s blockchain transaction ID, and verifies the asset, recipient, amount and required confirmations before completing the WooCommerce order.
Supported live-network configurations include:
Version 1 supports the classic WooCommerce Cart and Checkout flow. Block Checkout is not part of the published V1 compatibility scope.
This plugin does not exchange currency, custody funds or issue blockchain refunds. Merchants remain responsible for wallet security, supported-network configuration, accounting, taxation, regulatory obligations and any refund sent from their own wallet.
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Test the complete checkout and verification flow on Sepolia before accepting live payments. Always confirm that each enabled asset uses the intended network, token and receiving wallet.
This plugin connects to external services only as necessary to quote and verify a payment after the merchant enables and configures the gateway.
The Etherscan V2 API is used to retrieve public blockchain transaction and block information for Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain and Sepolia. Requests can include the merchant-supplied API key, chain ID, public transaction hash, token contract, wallet address and block range needed to verify the payment. The API request also necessarily exposes the site’s server IP address to Etherscan.
If the primary live-network explorer request fails, the plugin may query the applicable public Blockscout explorer API using public blockchain identifiers such as a transaction hash, token contract, wallet address or block range. The request necessarily exposes the site’s server IP address to the relevant Blockscout service.
The CoinGecko public API is used to retrieve the current crypto-to-fiat price required to calculate an order quote. Requests contain asset and fiat-currency identifiers and necessarily expose the site’s server IP address to CoinGecko. The plugin does not send WooCommerce customer identity or order contents to CoinGecko.
By enabling this gateway, the site owner directs the plugin to make these requests and remains responsible for reviewing the external providers’ current terms and privacy policies.
The plugin stores payment-related data in the WooCommerce order, including the selected asset, quoted crypto amount, receiving address, transaction hash, exchange rate, confirmation state and verification timestamps. This data is required to administer and audit the payment.
The plugin does not add advertising or analytics tracking. Merchants should describe cryptocurrency payment processing and the external services above in their own customer-facing privacy information where required.
