SupportZiip helps WordPress site owners add AI-powered support and sales assistants without requiring a SaaS account. Site owners bring their own OpenAI or Gemini API key, create assistants, publish them with shortcodes, and review local conversation logs in wp-admin.
The free version is local-first. It includes local AI usage controls, privacy tools, retention settings, and export/delete controls for conversation logs.
SupportZiip may offer a separate premium plugin outside WordPress.org for additional commercial workflows. The WordPress.org package is fully functional as shipped and does not lock local bundled features behind a license key.
Optional pricing information is available at https://supportziip.com/pricing. This free plugin does not embed that page, load external pricing scripts, collect payment details, or initialize a remote commerce SDK inside wp-admin.
This plugin uses the site owner’s own OpenAI or Gemini API key. When a visitor sends a message, the plugin may send the visitor message, assistant prompt, conversation context, and enabled knowledge content to the selected AI provider so a response can be generated.
Conversation logs are stored locally in the WordPress database unless the site administrator deletes them or configures retention cleanup. Site administrators should review their privacy policy, AI provider terms, and data retention requirements before enabling the chatbot.
The free plugin remains useful without a cloud account. It does not require a SupportZiip cloud connection to create assistants, configure BYO API keys, publish shortcodes, or manage local conversation logs.
Future commercial services may use explicit opt-in cloud communication, but the free submission build does not send Business OS telemetry, usage analytics, account data, or plugin activity data to SupportZiip, Workziip, or any licensing/commerce service.
SupportZiip can connect to the following third-party services only when a site administrator configures the related feature or API key. The plugin does not include bundled AI credits. Site owners are responsible for reviewing each provider’s terms, privacy policy, and data-processing requirements before enabling an AI provider.
SupportZiip can use OpenAI to generate assistant replies when the site administrator selects OpenAI and saves an OpenAI API key in the plugin settings.
When a visitor sends a message to an assistant using OpenAI, SupportZiip sends the visitor message, the assistant instructions, recent conversation context, and any enabled assistant knowledge content needed to generate a reply to OpenAI’s API endpoint.
This data is sent only when a visitor submits a chatbot message to an assistant configured to use OpenAI, or when an administrator tests OpenAI provider settings.

SupportZiip can use Google Gemini through the Google Generative Language API to generate assistant replies when the site administrator selects Gemini and saves a Gemini API key in the plugin settings.
When a visitor sends a message to an assistant using Gemini, SupportZiip sends the visitor message, the assistant instructions, recent conversation context, and any enabled assistant knowledge content needed to generate a reply to Google’s Generative Language API.
This data is sent only when a visitor submits a chatbot message to an assistant configured to use Gemini, or when an administrator tests Gemini provider settings.
