Stop guessing whether your conversion tracking fired correctly.

A WooCommerce order proves that the order exists. It does not by itself prove that the browser produced the purchase event you expected, that a Google conversion request was observed, or that the request carried the right order data.

ToolMate Conversion Snapshot captures browser-side conversion evidence from real WooCommerce order-confirmation visits and stores it with the order. Its immutable First-Customer Snapshot preserves the earliest completed real-customer observation, together with a SHA-256 snapshot hash, so later administrator visits do not replace the original evidence.

Open the order and quickly see what was actually observed at conversion: purchase and delayed events, Google request evidence, destination/order matching and available click/campaign attribution signals.

Why this matters

A completed WooCommerce order does not automatically mean your advertising platform received the conversion signal you expected. Conversion Snapshot helps you distinguish between “the customer paid” and “the expected tracking evidence was actually observed”.

That can make debugging missing conversions, mismatched values, incorrect order IDs, attribution gaps and delayed events dramatically faster.

Important: an observed request to a Google endpoint is evidence of technical delivery. It does not guarantee Google Ads attribution, reporting or campaign credit.

Free and Pro

ToolMate Conversion Snapshot Free is complete and fully usable. It does not contain locked premium functionality.

A separate commercial Conversion Snapshot Pro plugin is available for stores that need a deeper forensic workflow. Pro adds:

• Extended evidence history.
• Advanced observation timing controls.

Pro is optional. Everything listed under “Included in Free” works without it.

Privacy

Automatic observation is disabled by default. A site administrator must explicitly enable it before Conversion Snapshot begins collecting attribution or conversion evidence.

When enabled, the plugin may store the following data locally in WooCommerce order metadata, depending on what is available on the site and in the browser:

• Campaign and click parameters such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid and UTM parameters.
• Matching Google/analytics cookie values used for attribution diagnostics.
• First/latest landing and referrer URLs.
• Checkout IP address and browser user agent.
• Purchase, dataLayer and conversion-command evidence.
• Technical metadata about observed Google conversion requests and browser resources.

Conversion Snapshot does not send this diagnostic data to ToolMate Labs. Browser-side reports are submitted only to the same WordPress site through WordPress AJAX and stored with the related WooCommerce order.

The plugin adds suggested text to the WordPress Privacy Policy Guide. Site owners are responsible for reviewing their own privacy notice and consent setup for their jurisdiction and use case.

Source Code

All JavaScript and CSS distributed with this plugin is included in human-readable, unminified form:

• assets/js/observer.js — browser-side conversion observer source.
• assets/js/admin.js — admin interaction source.
• assets/css/admin.css — admin interface styles.

There is no separate compiled production bundle and no build or minification step is required to review, modify or run these files.
