Trade Testimonials

TradeTestimonials collects testimonials from your customers by email, turns
their feedback into a polished review, and publishes it to your public
testimonials page. This plugin connects that account to your WordPress
site so your reviews render as native page content instead of an embedded
iframe – genuinely part of your page for search engines, not just visually
present.

This plugin requires a TradeTestimonials
account – free to create, no card required. It fetches your published
testimonials from the TradeTestimonials service (tradetestimonials.com) to
display them, and – if you connect an API key – can send new testimonial
requests to your customers by email on your behalf. Sending is available on
the free plan too, up to its usual request limits; it isn’t a paid-only
feature. No data is sent to TradeTestimonials by installing this plugin
alone; requests are only sent when you explicitly use the “Request a
Testimonial” screen. See TradeTestimonials’ own

Features

• [trade_testimonials] shortcode and a native block editor block – both
  render identical, server-side markup, so what you see in the editor
  preview is what visitors see. Shows every published testimonial with
  Previous/Next page links when there are more than fit on one page –
  visitors never leave your site to see more reviews.
• LocalBusiness/AggregateRating/Review structured data (JSON-LD), for
  search engines and other structured-data consumers. Note: this will not
  produce star icons in Google Search results – Google excludes a
  business’s own curated reviews of itself from that specific feature,
  regardless of which site hosts the markup. The benefit here is that your
  review text becomes genuine, indexable content on your own domain instead
  of living inside an iframe, not search-result stars.
• “Request a Testimonial” screen to email a customer a feedback link
  directly from WordPress, using an API key generated from your
  TradeTestimonials dashboard – available on the free plan too, up to its
  usual request limits. Email only – there is no SMS option in this plugin.
• Results are cached (a few hours by default, configurable) so your site
  isn’t fetching from TradeTestimonials on every page load.
