• During checkout: We detect obvious formatting and input issues in real time and help customers correct them instantly
• After order submission: We perform a full validation using multiple data sources and notify the customer if their address needs correction

When issues are detected, we provide intelligent address suggestions and corrections, helping customers quickly fix mistakes without friction.

This ensures you catch both simple errors early and more complex address issues after checkout—while keeping the buying experience smooth and conversion-friendly.

This extension is free to download and install. However, our address validation service requires a subscription from VerifyShip.

External services

This plugin connects to an API to validate addresses.
During checkout, it sends essential address information (country, postalCode, city, street address) as well as email, name and phone number. This information is only used for validation and not stored by VerifyShip.
During advanced validation (after order confirmation), only essential address information is sent again.
