VideoLume Rewards creates a standalone front end for members and administration screens for site owners. It includes account registration, sponsored task claims, eligible direct-video activities, USD and points wallet records, referral attribution, manual withdrawal requests, and moderated creator submissions.
The creator discovery area accepts YouTube video links for voluntary browsing. YouTube discovery does not award points or money for views, watch time, likes, comments, subscriptions, or shares. Rewarded Watch & Earn campaigns require a direct or self-hosted video source whose terms permit incentivized viewing. Site owners are responsible for checking the terms and rights of any video source they add.
No payment gateway, automatic deposit, automatic payout, referral commission, or YouTube engagement reward is included. A displayed balance is a record in this site’s database, not a transfer of money.
Approved YouTube discovery items display thumbnails from https://i.ytimg.com. Loading the discovery page makes the visitor’s browser request those images from Google, which can receive ordinary request information such as the visitor’s IP address and browser data. Clicking an approved item opens its YouTube URL in a new tab. This happens only when those pages or links are used; the plugin does not use the YouTube API or send wallet and account records to YouTube. Review the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms and Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Rewarded video and poster URLs are supplied by the site administrator. Opening a rewarded video page can make the member’s browser request that media and poster from the selected host. Site owners should choose a source whose terms and privacy practices are suitable for their members and disclose that source in their own privacy notice.
Contact messages are sent to the site’s administrator through the configured WordPress mail system. The plugin stores member accounts in WordPress and stores task claims, video sessions, campaign activity, referral attribution, USD and points wallet entries, withdrawal methods and destinations, and audit events in the site’s database. Site administrators can access these records. The plugin does not bundle a payment processor or an external analytics service. Site owners should set their own retention periods and privacy disclosures for their hosting, mail delivery, video sources, and payout arrangements.
