Webaaty – AI Chat Assistant

Webaaty adds an AI-powered chat assistant to your WordPress site, powered by Chaaty. It answers your visitors’ questions around the clock and captures leads even when you’re away — trained on your own business content.

Webaaty is a connector for the hosted Chaaty service. After you create a chatbot in your Chaaty dashboard, you paste its Chatbot ID here and the assistant appears on your site. No coding required.

You will need a Chaaty account. Chaaty is a third-party hosted (SaaS) service. Sign up and create your assistant at https://chaaty.io — a free plan is available.

External services

This plugin connects your site to Chaaty, a third-party service operated by Chaaty (https://chaaty.io). This connection is required for the plugin to function, because the chat assistant is hosted and processed by Chaaty.

What the plugin does:

• It loads the Chaaty widget script from https://chaaty.io/widget/embed.js on the front end of your site (only when you have entered a Chatbot ID and the assistant is enabled).
• When one of your visitors interacts with the assistant, their messages and related session data are sent to Chaaty’s servers (https://chaaty.io) to generate replies and, where applicable, capture leads. This happens in the visitor’s browser via the loaded widget.
• The plugin sends your Chatbot ID (which you provide) to identify which assistant to load.

The plugin itself does not send your visitors’ data to any other service. Data handling by the Chaaty service is governed by Chaaty’s policies:

If you remove the plugin or disable the assistant, the widget script is no longer loaded on your site.
