Winking Toad SEO Fixer

Winking Toad SEO Fixer shows you, in one list, which of your published posts, pages and WooCommerce products are missing an SEO title, a meta description, or alt text on their images. Open any item, write the missing text yourself or ask for an AI draft, review it, and apply it. Every change is saved with the value it replaced, so you can undo it with one click.

What is free and stays on your site

• Scan posts, pages and WooCommerce products for missing SEO titles, meta descriptions and image alt text.
• Edit the values by hand, apply them, and see them in the fix history.
• One-click undo. The plugin will not overwrite a value that was changed after it wrote it.
• Works with Yoast SEO and Rank Math (it reads and writes the fields they use). With no SEO plugin active, it stores and prints the title and description itself.
• Fixes alt text both in the media library and in images already inserted into a post.

Optional: AI drafts

If you want suggestions written for you, the optional Draft with AI button uses the Winking Toad service. It is off until you add a plugin key and tick a consent box. AI drafts spend usage credits; a one-time welcome credit is included, and you are not charged for a draft that fails. Nothing is ever applied automatically: you review and edit every suggestion first.

What it does not do

• It does not promise rankings, traffic or indexing.
• It does not change anything without your click on “Apply changes”.
• It shows no ads and no “powered by” links on your site.
• It does not track visitors and adds nothing to your public pages when Yoast SEO or Rank Math is active.

External services

This plugin can connect to one external service, Winking Toad (winkingtoad.com), but only for the optional “Draft with AI” feature. The scan, manual editing, fix history and undo never contact any server.

What the service is used for: writing suggested SEO titles, meta descriptions and image alt text for one item at a time.

When data is sent: only when a site administrator has (1) entered a plugin key and (2) ticked the consent box in Winking Toad → Settings, and only at the moment someone clicks Draft with AI on an item. Nothing is sent in the background, on activation, or on a schedule.

What is sent for that item: the item’s title, its type (post, page or product), the name of its first category, a plain-text excerpt of its content (at most 1,200 characters), and, for images without alt text, the image file names and attachment IDs. Your plugin key is sent to identify the account and charge credits. No visitor data, no user data, no site address and no email addresses are sent. The service does not store the submitted text; it is used once to build the request and discarded, and only a credit-ledger entry is kept.
