Turn your WooCommerce simple products into customizable products. YourPop Studio T-Shirt Product Designer lets shoppers add images and text, adjust their artwork, and preview their design before adding it to the cart.

Set up your own brands, colors, sizes, printing methods, product Base Images, and additional charges. Add a size chart for each brand so shoppers can check their measurements without leaving the designer.

This free edition is a standalone package. Its included features do not require a license key, subscription, or paid activation. Both Cap and Mesh Cap are front-only in the free edition.

Getting started

Install WooCommerce, configure the designer settings, upload your product Base Images, and enable the designer on a simple product. Choose the product’s print category and check the complete customization and checkout flow before accepting customer orders.

You provide the product images, size charts, and store settings. The sample images shown in the screenshots illustrate a configured store and are not bundled with the plugin.

Privacy and external services

The plugin does not contact an external license server, AI API, analytics service or custom update server. It uses the store’s WordPress/WooCommerce endpoints. Media URLs configured by the store may use its own CDN or hosting provider.

Submitted artwork, design JSON and preview images are stored on the store server and associated with the cart/order. Original images and previews can be attached to WooCommerce new-order and customer on-hold, processing and completed emails. Email recipients and delivery providers follow the store’s WooCommerce/mail configuration.

Unordered draft directories are cleaned after 30 days through daily WordPress scheduled tasks. Cleanup timing depends on WordPress cron. Ordered artwork has no automatic expiration; the store administrator must apply the store’s retention policy. Deactivation does not delete artwork, settings or order metadata. This release does not provide automatic artwork deletion through WordPress personal-data erasure; administrators must process applicable requests manually, including copies in emails/backups.

WooCommerce session cookies identify the cart. The ypstd_lang cookie stores a language preference (up to one year). A salted HMAC of the visitor IP address is used for an upload-rate counter with a one-hour expiration; the raw IP is not stored by that counter. Hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce may independently log or store additional data.

Customers should avoid including unnecessary personal information in uploaded artwork. Review and adapt the suggested privacy text available in the WordPress privacy policy guide.

Source and licenses

The complete readable PHP, JavaScript, CSS and translation source is included. No build step, bundled external library, remote font or executable download is required. The plugin source and translation catalog are distributed under GPL-2.0-or-later; see LICENSE.txt. WordPress and WooCommerce are separately installed dependencies under their own licenses. Product images, customer artwork and size charts are supplied by the store or customer and are not bundled here.

Fresh installation

Legacy cts editions are not imported. Configure settings and products when migrating from a legacy edition. Updates within the current ypstd-based free edition retain existing settings. The shortcode is [ypstd_designer]. Activate only one designer edition. Customer artwork uses a new private ypstd-artwork directory, or YPSTD_STORAGE_DIR if configured.
